No football player needs extra motivation when a big derby is on the agenda. These games have a very special effect on the players and fans. It’s not just about winning or losing, it’s often about much, much more. For many fans, it is sometimes more important to win the two derbies in one season than to be higher in the table position.

The city derby is often the most important game of the year and far more than a match for three points. There is always enough to talk about in these duels. The Derby Guide betting base provides information on the history and also highlights interesting and helpful information about the individual derbies around the globe.

The list of possible derbies is almost endless. The most famous duels like the Ruhrpott derby between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04, the Roman derby between Lazio and AS Roma, the big derbies in England (especially the London city duels), and South American classics such as Boca Juniors vs. River Plate are probably a term every football fan knows. Of course, we don’t just want to focus on these top teams.

Of course, it is not easy to find out potentially interesting sports bets in derbies. That is why betting base researches for each of the above-mentioned duels which derby tips would have worked particularly often in the past in order to provide a clue for the future.
