The common terms of service for the Lifeline program are in place to ensure that you are aware of the conditions and limitations of the service you are receiving. This includes, but is not limited to, unused minutes and data, cancellation, and plan restrictions.

Lifeline is a government-subsidized program that allows qualified low-income wireless customers to get a slice of the action. It does not require a credit check. Unused Minutes And/Or Data Are Not Eligible For Refunds.

Cancellation

Lifeline program offers an unlimited data plan not subject to cancellation terms. These individuals can then qualify for free nationwide 4G LTE and 5G wireless service. With a monthly airtime discount, customers can enjoy unlimited talk, text, and data on any eligible device. To continue receiving the Lifeline service, eligible subscribers must recertify their eligibility annually by submitting an updated form of documentation. The company will also notify existing subscribers of Lifeline service twice a year. Regarding cancellation, the company will notify subscribers 60 days before they are no longer eligible. If customers no longer qualify for the Lifeline plan, they can transfer their ACP benefits to another provider. Alternatively, the customer can continue to receive the Lifeline service without enrolling in the ACP. Lastly, the company will apply any EBB discounts to its Lifeline plan. When transferring your ACP benefits to another service provider, the customer may have to provide a Social Security number and other personal information. Those details will be protected in accordance with applicable laws. The company will investigate any complaints and respond within seven business days. Depending on the status of the complaint, the customer may be asked to provide additional information.
