PDF WIZ Review – A Must-have Software for Organizations

Have you ever found yourself with a PDF document that needed conversion to another format like Word, PowerPoint, or Excel? Well, several online PDF conversion solutions are available, but they tend to be limited in what you can do with them. Unlike other software that either give you limited access to their features or are not powerful enough, PDF WIZ makes all your PDF conversion wishes come true, free.

Meet PDF WIZ

As the name suggests, PDF WIZ is a wizard when it comes to managing and manipulating PDF files. It is a free desktop software for Windows that enables you to convert PDFs to other file formats and vice versa.

It comes with an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes converting PDFs a walk in the park. Perhaps the thing you’ll love most about the software is the many useful options it gives you for dealing with PDF files.

Features

Split – you can split PDF files into two, three, or whatever pieces you want. Sometimes, you need a particular portion of a PDF file. This option will prove useful for such scenarios.

Merge – If you have various PDF files that you would like to combine to make one major file, this feature will take care of that for you.

Compress – some PDF files come in insanely large sizes that take up unnecessary space on your storage device. PDF WIZ enables you to reduce the size of PDFs while maintaining quality so that they take up less space. This feature can be useful if you are sharing PDFs via email or WhatsApp.

Extract images and pages – you can get just specific pages from a PDF file or only the images in the file if that’s what you want.

Conversion! Conversion! Conversion! – This software is so powerful that with it, you can convert:

  • Word documents to PDF
  • Images to PDF – A good solution for creating portfolios or presentations that rely on images, e.g. slides.
  • PDF to Word, PowerPoint, Plain Text file, Excel, Images, or HTML

How to Convert a PDF to Word with PDF WIZ

Using this software is child’s play, as doing things with it is simple and involves minimal steps. To convert a PDF to a Word document,

Step 1

(Assuming you’ve already downloaded and installed PDF WIZ) Launch the software.

You’ll be presented with a simple interface with the various options for converting PDF files.

Converting PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, or HTML is the first option. Click that option.

You’ll be presented with another interface that allows you to select the file that needs conversion and options to specify the file type you want – in this case, Word

Step 2

Like the interface suggests, either drag and drop the PDF file you want to convert into the interface or Click to Add File.

At the lower part of the interface, make sure “Convert to: Word” is selected.

Under “Save as:” you can select “.doc” for legacy Word formats or “.docx” for the modern Word formats.

Under “Convert Mode:” You can select between “Format” and “Editability”.

Under “Saved in:” You can select between the default directory of the software or choose your preferred directory for the output.

Once you’ve selected all your preferences, click “CONVERT NOW” (the blue button at the bottom right of the interface).

And your file will be converted in no time. However, the size of the file determines how long the conversion will take.

If desired, you can convert several files at the same time.

Step 3

You can either open the converted file directly in the software or open the output folder using the software to view the converted file.

It’s as simple as that.

If you are a lawyer, student, or anyone who deals with different PDF files often, you’ll find PDF WIZ an invaluable tool. It’s free, runs on your desktop – so you don’t have to worry about exposing private information to the internet – and it can convert PDFs to most of the file formats you need. It’s all your PDF conversion wishes come true.
