Screen Shot 2017-09-17 at 08.27.45DriverKnowledge is a website that offers everything a young driver needs to know before they take their written test to earn their driver’s license.

Information

Current modern technology has offered many opportunities for making information known in a much easier way. This is the reason why this website was begun back in 2010 for the purposes of helping drivers on driving laws that oversee them together with recently passed laws. Many young people do not really know much about the laws that apply to driving. Many of these young people think that getting their license and getting behind the wheel of one of the most dangerous weapons there is – is enough -well, it usually is not which is why this website focuses on helping the younger drivers to find resources that manage more of the education of the driver.

Whatever it takes

This website has a blog with some great sections having good quality information on almost everything about taking care of and driving your auto. These articles are great for anyone who drives a car. These sections include:

  • Guide on Accidents
  • Auto loans and financing
  • Buy and sell
  • Automobile maintenance
  • Driving tips
  • Fines and violations
  • Insurance
  • Training and licensing

Getting DL each state

Getting a driving license is different when it comes to different states and this was the reason this website has developed a step by step guide on how to get a driver’s license in each state. How to get a driver’s license could be thought of as being easy but it is always much better to know what will be required of you to get one. Many driving schools also give students information. But if a driver moves to another state, they need to learn the new state’s laws for getting the new state’s driver license. On this website, you just only need to click to select your state option and a guide will follow clearly showing what documents you will need to have and other information. This site also has a permit practice test where the questions will be given to you to show whether you will be able to pass the DMV test.

The practice exam prepares the student but the actual questions in the test are not known, so the student will need to have a good knowledge of the driving laws to pass the real test. Knowledge plus some idea what to expect will make passing the real written exam easier to pass.

High quality test exam

This website has always stood out when compared to the other websites that have tests and this site also offers very high-quality knowledge. You can find several other websites providing practice tests but the quality of these tests is what matters the most. Practice exams to be a good teaching tool must be:

  • Accurate
  • Challenging
  • Follow the latest Federal Guidelines

Driving tips

This blog section has some great articles on driving including:

  • Safe driving in foggy weather, raining or in winter road conditions;
  • Preparing your auto for a major road trip;
  • Emergency survival tips when on the road;
  • Top 9 driving tips for teenage drivers;
  • Top 10 maintenance tips for women drivers.

Driving in the Rain

One of the better articles with a lot to teach is about the best driving techniques for driving in the rain. Driving in the rain might not seem like a pressing safety problem, but some stats will show differently. According to the United States Department of Transportation, wet pavement causes nearly 950,000 auto wrecks every year. With stats like this, it seems clear that driving in the rain can increase the risk of a dangerous situation for you, your family as well as other road users.

Car needs to be in good shape

Driving during wet weather does not have to be a white-knuckled, or gut-wrenching experience unless it is a heavy downpour. As the driver, one needs to know that safety begins long before the driver get behind the wheel. This means that you need to make certain that your car is ready and adjust some of your habits for driving to avoid an unwanted road occurrence.
