Especially when you’re starting from scratch, you do what you can with what you got from where you are. There are probably many possibilities that you already have to create opportunities to invite people to join your email list.
Let’s start with doing an audit of any of your online pages. In this, we include any social media that you might be a member of – like a Facebook or Twitter page – but also any existing website that you have. Now you should to go and look at all of those pages. A way to do this is to google yourself and ask yourself on each of these pages: “am I inviting people to the next step am I giving people an opportunity to join my list?”, “do I have some type of lead capture?”
