The Magic of Verdura

"The best six doctors anywhere, and no one can deny it. Are Sunshine, water, rest, air, exercise and diet."

Just the kind of medicine you will receive at Verdura, the luxury Rocco Forte resort that is set subtly on over two kilometres of private Mediterranean coastline. Just a few days spent at Verdura and you will understand it's magic. From sunrise to sunset and come rain or shine the beautiful landscape, creates dramatic vistas of breath-taking magnificence. With all of the bedrooms facing the sea, you awake to the sound of the waves along with the salty smell of the sea filling your lungs, making you feel instantly replenished. A short stroll or bike ride takes you to Buongiorno, the breakfast restaurant. That has wrap around windows that flood the space with natural light, waking you up as you enjoy the finest Italian coffee and a buffet of fabulous fresh produce, some of which is grown and produced on the resort. After breakfast you can enjoy a morning "passeggiata", Italian for a sociable stroll, to take in the scenery and find a place to sit to watch the world go by. Then to continue the relaxation, head over to the spa, for the some thalassotherapy in the open air pools, face up to the sun, while the healing waters wash your aches and pains away.

So that's sunshine, water and air taken care of. So then after a leisurely lunch, it's time for some exercise, perhaps a round of golf or a visit to the gym, all before an afternoon rest. Maybe time to read a book on your balcony or a little nap in the spa rest zone looking out at the rolling landscape, up to the surrounding mountains. Then last but by no means least, diet. Dinner time is the real show stopper, after watching sunset with a Sicilian Mojito, you can enjoy dinner in either the fine dining restaurant or traditional Sicilian pizzeria. With mighty portions, and simple but elegant flavours, you will get a true taste of the region all washed down with some beautiful Sicilian wine.

What a perfect recipe for incentive travel, with reward, recognition and relaxation top of the agenda at Verdura and with so much space the opportunities at the resort are endless for group dinners and activities. Guests will be truly wowed and leave totally rejuvenated.
