Eligibility & Duration of B.Tech Part-Time Program
The eligibility criteria for this course are mentioned below:
- A student should be a 10+2 pass out with the main subject PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- A student should have completed a three-year diploma or polytechnic in the relevant field or a B.Sc. degree in computer science or information technology. Some universities also ask for work experience of 2 to 3 years.
- Students should have at least a minimum of 50% of qualifying marks.
- A student can also take a university-specific exam if the university of their choice conducts it.
- Students of any age group can enroll in this course as there is no age limit or restriction to enroll in this.
The duration of a regular B.Tech to graduate from this course is 4 years but this B.Tech for working professionals is a flexible degree so the duration is 3 to 3.5 years therefore it contains 6 to 7 semesters of six months each. At the end of each semester end term examinations are conducted.
