Focusing Is Worthwhile; Take A Look At This 6 Principles

Life is a wake-up call. You’ve got to pick up the call to concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. Just as the sun rays do not burn until brought to a focus.

Most people have a do it yourself project, one of the greatest revelations where in the future depends upon. However, the ability to make a sensible decision of experience bringing notice to an opening verse “sometimes might say, I want to start. I need focus”. But most times, one who agrees with laser-like focus, ends up being a successful warrior.

Live life to the fullest, and focus on the positive. The direction of your focus is the direction your life will move. Let yourself move toward what is good, valuable, strong and true.

Today’s world, constant distractions keep rising which makes it extremely difficult to focus. But without the ability to focus, the eye keeps on the imagination of succeeding and cannot achieve seeing success in real life. “Focus” might be a well-known word, but people neglect the power this word is made of. Because of the world factors making success, focusing will always be the starting point of the track before the rest give a go to acting.

Only one thing has to change to make happiness in our lives: where we focus our attention. The focus should not be on talking. The talk is cheap. It must be in action.

So how do you focus anyway?

1. Take In a Deep Elimination Of Distractions

We live in a world that wants YOU to be distracted as much as possible. Why? A lot of people are in a state of constant distraction, but this distraction is creating FEAR – fear of getting it wrong, fear they don’t know enough, fear that they can’t afford ‘the one thing’ they need to succeed. This fear is causing an uncomfortable paralysis – a complete inability to move forward or take any action towards creating desire or achieving goals. Many people find it easier to give excuses and blame everything around themselves. It’s just easier that way. If you’re distracted, you can’t blame others for distracting you. Admit it and change it! You can’t just hope for something that will propel your change. Rather find what is meaningful and valuable.

2. Drive Back Your Attention to The Purpose

Having a sense of purpose in your life is essential to well-being. What is the purpose of your do it yourself project? Well, the purpose is always to achieve something that would make a difference. The question is are you still standing one with your purpose? Because when your attention is at your purpose, you feel passionate, innovative, and committed. Therefore, your outward-looking focus is on serving the organization. Most posts discuss the philosophical notions of self-esteem, self-confidence, purposeful life, and meaningful existence, but they fail on providing any concrete advice on how to achieve anything real. Switch on your attention back to your purpose to endeavor you to focus as well as possible.

3. Set Your Mind and Avoid “Stinking Thinking”

If a skunk gets into the crawl space under your house, opening the windows and using air freshener won’t solve the problem! Some people actually specialize in dealing with a skunk. They’re called “skunk whisperers,” and it’s not cheap to have them come to your home, But it’s worth it to get rid of the problem. How does all this relate to your thinking? Simply this: your feelings are the odors and your thoughts are the skunk! To change your feeling to focus right, you must go to the source and deal with the thing that produces them- how you think. Once you give in to “stinking thinking,” your mood dips, you lose energy and your outlook in life becomes bleak. When that happens you become so focused on how you feel, you don’t realize it’s your thinking that’s causing you to feel like that. It happens to the best of you, this makes you lose plenty of focus on yourself, however, set your mind and stop “stinking thinking”.

4. Stop Striving

If you don’t find your significance and self-worth to stay focused, you’ll be tempted to spend your life trying to promote yourself. And that will make you insecure and dangerous enough for you to miss out. Why? Because when others get promoted ahead of you, you’ll become resentful; you may even try to tear them down. You don’t achieve success on your own, you receive it from the true life of focusing. When you try to get to the next level of yourself, you have to sweat, strain, and struggle, but when your focus is trusted things come easy. That doesn’t mean you won’t have to work hard or sacrifice to succeed. It just means you won’t have to strive to get it or keep it. Why? Because focus itself is a plan that is used majorly when you have to get something so important. You can’t depend on your imagination of a million-dollar to come into your bank, only if you focus on the game way that will make that possible.

5. End The Conflict Now

When you hold onto resentment it feels like there’s a war going inside you. You’re in a battle with yourself, as well as others. And the more you fight, the more ground you lose. Arguing just drains you of energy to focus you out and leaves you more hurt and angry. You’re in a no-win situation. You struggle with who’s right and who’s wrong. You spend so much time trying to out-do, out-sout, and out-maneuver others that you lose your peace and joy. End the conflict now! That way your mind can concentrate and focus on what really matters. Refuse to live with conflict on, because you can’t focus. Don’t allow someone’s actions to determine your reaction. Be controlled and alert. People tend to stay around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Stay away from these people and don’t impose judgment.

6. Be Secure In Who You Are

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to us. Insecure people often say yes, when in reality they’d like to say no. But people who succeed at being themselves don’t let others control them. They see themselves as they are made (who you are); therefore they’re led by lacking focus instead of the fear of rejection. You can invest so much effort into trying to keep everything to smooth that you end up losing yourself. Do you feel like you can’t be everything you want to be? Do you want to say no, but the fear of displeasing others makes you acquiescing? And in the main time, the pressure is building inside you and you’re thinking. “I can’t do this anymore”? Don’t get angry with those making more and more demands on you. You are responsible for ordering your own life. The buck stops with you! That requires a clear sense of your own worth, your calling, your goals, and your priorities. So there, stay focused on yourself and secure who you are.
