Dubai Creek Harbour by Emaar Properties

Located less than 15 minutes from Downtown Dubai, Dubai Creek Harbour is well and truly on its way to becoming the new center of Dubai. Featuring the world’s tallest tower and the new world’s biggest mall this mega development covering a whopping 6 sq km will be a pioneer of integrated living. A mega development that will inspire the world with the perfect combination of dynamic experiences, innovation, and new age design.

Dubai Creek Harbour Properties

Consisting of nine different districts, buying opportunities at Dubai Creek Harbour have largely been limited to the Island District. Completely surrounded by water the Island district is in many ways the new Dubai Marina (another master project by Emaar Properties). Situated opposite Downtown Dubai, the Island District will feature a mix of high-end residential towers and hotels along with a Marina, a large park, and a huge range hospitality and leisure outlets. The first residential project to be delivered on the Island District will be Dubai Creek Residences. These 6 high rise tower developments surrounding the new Marina feature uninterrupted view of the Creek and Dubai Downtown skyline. Delivery date is scheduled for March 2018 with first residents expected to move in shortly after. The total number of towers planned on the Island District is 27. As of Q4 2018, roughly 60% of these have been fully sold out and are well on their way to construction. Property prices in the community start at around 1 million Dirhams for a one bedroom apartment and around 1.6 million Dirhams for a two bedroom apartment. Considering the future plans, properties in Dubai Creek Harbour community are seen as an excellent long-term investment opportunity.

Dubai Creek Tower

There are not too many people in the world who are not familiar with Burj Khalifa and in a not too distant future, the same will be said about Dubai Creek Tower. With a yet to be disclosed exact height, this first of its kind structure is set to become the tallest in the world. For those wondering, the height of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa is 828 meters. Designed by world-renowned architect, Santiago Calatrava, this iconic structure combines modern, sustainable design whilst paying tribute to the rich culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

Along with revolutionary design and record-breaking height, the Tower is set to feature numerous observation decks offering spectacular 360 Degree views of Dubai and beyond. Whilst no official word as to what else will be in the Tower, there have been numerous reports that suggest a boutique hotel may be part of the picture. We can only speculate what the room rates for a night’s stay may be!

Dubai Square

If the world’s tallest tower wasn’t enough Dubai Creek Harbour will also be the home of the world’s largest shopping mall named, Dubai Square. This new retail and entertainment project will offer 8.07 million sq. ft. of gross retail space which to put into perspective is the equivalent to more than 100 football pitches. This will make it nearly double the size of Dubai Mall, currently the world biggest. Split across three levels, Dubai Square will feature the newly announced Chinatown project as well as an events arena and a host of luxury retail, dining and leisure outlets. A cineplex, waterpark and an art district are also in planning.

Outside of shop and entertainment options, Dubai Square will have a purposeful “technology-driven” focus offering customers the option to shop via desktop, mobile or the old fashion way; in a retail store. The technology theme will extend to incorporating the use of mobile apps, quick checkout solutions, barcode scanning applications, mobile payments and click and collect services.

The official completion date for the project is yet to be announced but one would assume it will coincide with the expected completion of the Tower, somewhere around 2021.
