In break-ins or other dangerous situations, it is important to call 911 for help and hide in a safe spot where they will not be noticed.

While you can go over all of the possible emergency situations in the world, you children may never really be prepared until they have to deal with the situation face to face. Plan emergency drills in your house to teach the kids exactly what should be done. Children learn best when they’re actually participating in something.
