W We've heard songs specifically about big butts or as they are referred to by the singers; "booty". Yes! It was the year of the booty or as you could politely say it "big butts".
Some people have been dieting or following tough exercise regimens to stay slim and fit. They barely have enough butt size to create a bump in their jeans and the voluptuous buttocks of Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and JLo seems like a dream to them.

We keep telling our patients that the celebrities can get their butts enhanced with injections and surgeries, or they just have the natural gift of having big butts.
Our clients still want the big butt. They will go online, search and come asking you for a butt injection as the butt enhancing procedure.
Hydrogel Butt Injections
At this time, as a professional, you have to make them understand that most butt injections are hydrogel based. The hydrogel is basically silicon. Silicon is synthesized carbon that is heat and electricity resistant, and it is usually used in making microchips.
You are tempted to perform the procedure. You just have to anesthetize their butt, inject a hydrogel injection, observe them for 24 hours and prescribe some antibiotics. Keep in mind, this isn't legal, nor is it safe according to most physicians.
Because a lot of physicians refuse to do these dangerous injections; you'll find floods of women doing "back alley" butt injections in peoples homes or offices.
Side Effects of Hydrogel Butt Injections
It is much more difficult than that. Hydrogel or silicone is an unnatural material. It is a foreign material that does not belong in the body.
It reacts differently in every person's surgery and even if you are a specialized plastics surgeon or physician, you cannot guarantee that the hydrogel will yield 100% results. More often the hydrogel injections cause infection that could result in following consequences:

Why not Hydrogel Injections?
The hydrogel injections for butt enhancements are banned in the U.S. by the FDA. Experts will tell you that the procedure is dangerous and only a certified plastic surgeon can do the procedure.
Until a more stable form of hydrogel with biological adaptability is developed, you should discourage the use of hydrogel and consider using fat injections.
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or butt augmentation procedure is a safer way to fulfill your client's big butt wishes.

Butt augmentation or Brazilian Butt Lift is the safest and the most effective way of administering butt injections for butt enhancements. They have the following advantages:

- They are organic.
- They are easier, faster and less invasive.
- They pose low risk of infection.
What is BBL or Butt Augmentation?
Brazilian Butt Lift or butt augmentation is basically a procedure that involves liposuction and injections. The patient or client's fat is sucked out of their other fatty areas using liposuction and injected into their butts.
The area to be used in liposuction is predetermined and usually includes: thighs, legs, arms and belly. The fat that is obtained from these areas is then injected into the butt of the patient. All the while the patient is under anesthesia. The patient or client is good to go after the swelling goes down and fluid movement is recovered.
This is safe because:
- The patient or client is being injected with their own fat.
- Their body is less likely to reject the injected material and cause infection.
- The fat injected in your butt can be molded and shaped into perfect shape.
- It is less invasive; and there is a choice of injecting specific areas of the butt that need more enhancing
- The butt will feel sore but the recovery time is less than butt implants or hydrogel injections in the butt.
So the hydrogel injections are available for use despite their banned status but you will be taking a life risk taking those injections. Fat injections are safer, better and you can trust your plastic surgeon to do the procedure.
